WENS LINK is a purely secular Voluntary Organization consisting of committed peace promoting professionals, leaders having long years of experience in social work. It is a non-political, non-profit making society working throughout Assam & North East. It was established in 2006 and is collaborating with various National top ranked & prestigious Institutions, Foundations, Trusts and Societies of India and various other programmers such as Government Skill Development training courses of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for Educated youth, Ministry of Rural Development, Sarna Jayanty Gram Swarojgar Yojana, Aajeevika, National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) like retail, Security, Agriculture, Health care, Hospitality Management, IT/ITes to the students to fulfill the growing demands for skilled manpower, NRHM, PNDT units Government e-District project under AMTRON etc. It has been working for the socio economic development of specially the weaker and needy, neglected segments of society, focusing on weaker sections such as S.C, S.T, minorities and those with disabilities, needy poor widows & children, deserted women, orphans irrespective of caste, creed and religion. The beneficiaries have benefitted through NFE, awareness campaigns, and medical inputs, vocational training through skills development & special interventions for the disabled and older age persons. Multi-sector technical assistance IEC, empowerment and self-help through Self-Help Groups are the basic methods through we bring about lasting behavioral changes.
